Burex 3-D PrintingBurex are now developing and marketing
a revolutionary 3D printing technique, using
dye sublimation, that can be applied to
non-flat metals, wood and plastics that
creates exceptional image quality. The
process is currently not available anywhere
else in Europe. The design is transfered
directly onto the coated product or directly
onto the plastic part, regardless of the
product’s shape or size.
The process allows us to print around corners,
curves, bevelled edges and other non-flat products
that can be found in domestic, retail and corporate
arenas.
The technology is considered a major breakthrough
for product finishing, as the process transfers
photographic-quality,full-colour designs onto a range
of products.
The result is a durable, fully decorated product that
does not peel.
The print is permanent!

Any image can be created using digital technology such as photos, pop art, computer imagery, artist’s renditions or scans of natural materials such as wood grains and marbles. Now, functional products such as radiator panels, white electrical goods, counter-tops, shaped aluminium or steel surfaces, earthenware, stone etc. can all be fully decorated with a bespoke image to blend with any interior – or even become a feature in themselves. If you’ve ever felt restricted by the current limitations to such surfaces – then you will find this new technology really exciting.
